Professional Athlete Award

To be voted the 2011 “Most Positive Professional Athlete in the World” an athlete will be judged on the following criteria:

Personal Foundations

  • Personal Foundation Initiatives

 Community Involvement

  • International
  • National
  • Local Community

 Leadership

  • As a Member of the Team or Organization
  • As a member of a Conference, League or Sport
  • As a Role Model for Young Athletes

 

Nomination Structure and Voting Rules:

  • Nominations in the professional athlete category are coordinated through submissions directly to Celebrate Positive.com via non-profit organizations.
  • Deadlines for nominations are December 15, 2011    
  • Voting will take place on-line at selected polling sites for the International Voting Academy members, as well as sites specifically created for general public voting.
  • Celebrate Positive, LLC does not have a vote for the International POSITIVE Sports Awards.
  • Completed rankings for all polls will be handled by Celebrate Positive, LLC and award ceremonies are held between February 1 and May 30, 2012.
