Professional Sports Community Award
To be voted the 2011 “Most Positive Professional Sports Community in the World”, communities will be judged on the following criteria:
Fan Support
- 2011 Fan Support for their Teams
- Historic Fan Support for their Teams
Community Involvement
- Philanthropic Giving to Pro Sports Team Causes and Programs
- Support Given to Sports Cause Marketing Campaigns
Nomination Structure and Voting Rules:
- Nominations in the professional sports community category are coordinated through submissions directly to Celebrate Positive via local sports Commissions/Councils and professional sports teams.
- Deadlines for nominations are December 15, 2011
- Voting will take place on-line at selected polling sites for the International Voting Academy members, as well as sites specifically created for general public voting.
- Celebrate Positive, LLC does not have a vote for the International POSITIVE Sports Awards.
- Completed rankings for all polls will be handled by Celebrate Positive, LLC and award ceremonies are held between February 1 and May 30, 2012.
