Professional Sports League Award

To be voted the 2011 “Most Positive Pro Sports League in the World”, leagues will be judged on the following criteria:

Social Responsibility Practices
  • Diversity record and policies
  • Consumer protection and rights
Community Involvement
  • Philanthropic Giving
  • Cause Marketing Campaigns
Environmental Promotion
  • Impact on the Environment and Positive Adjustments
  • Innovative Practices and Promotion Designed to Make the World a Better Place


Nomination Structure and Voting Rules:

  • Nominations in the professional league category are coordinated through submissions directly to Celebrate Positive.com via non-profit organizations.
  • Deadlines for nominations are December 15, 2011    
  • Voting will take place on-line at selected polling sites for the International Voting Academy members, as well as sites specifically created for general public voting.
  • Celebrate Positive, LLC does not have a vote for the International POSITIVE Sports Awards.
  • Completed rankings for all polls will be handled by Celebrate Positive, LLC and award ceremonies are held between February 1 and May 30, 2012.
