About International Positive Week
2012 will mark the third annual International Positive Week which is a celebration and global initiative in conjunction with the Culture of Peace Initiative through the United Nations, and the International POSITIVE Sports Awards. The goal is to celebrate and shine the light on the world's most positive individuals, organizations, communities, businesses and events in the world of sports while promoting the message of World Peace.
International Positive Week is not owned by any organization, and it is not motivated by political, religious or negative activism. The United Nations International Day of Peace (September 21) resides inside International Positive Week.
